Bridging the Military/Civilian Divide, Veterans Coming Home
Event Information
Description
Join Nashville Public Television as we kick off another round of stories in our Veterans Coming Home project with a town hall event on Thursday, April 7th at 6pm CST in NPT’s Studio A. We will be recording a conversation with local panelists and members of the Kindling Group, an award winning media non-profit that is partnering with public media stations to create content designed to bridge the divide between civilians and veterans by focusing on the universal value of service.
The conversation between panelists and the in-studio audience will be streamed live nationwide via an online platform called OVEE. The online audience will be able to join in the discussion via chat.
Doors open at 5pm and refreshments will be provided. The town hall goes live promptly at 6pm CST.
Join us and share your perspective on what we can do as a community to prevent isolation and recognize veterans and their families for their service.
You can also particiapte in the conversation remotely as part of our online audience. Click the link to find to join the online conversation. http://bit.ly/VeteransTownHall
