Welcome to the Bridging Divides Knowledge Exchange Event! Join us at The University of British Columbia - Okanagan Campus (ART-204) on Tuesday, October 21st.

This event aims to bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds to share their knowledge and experiences on immigrant health and wellbeing. Dr. Josephine Wong and Dr. Priscilla Boakye from Toronto Metropolitan University will share current evidence generated from Bridging Divides projects, including community gardening and restorative storytelling for mental health, health equity and access to culture-language concordant care among older immigrants; and promoting transculturation among non-Indigenous Canadian born nursing students and internationally educated nurses, etc.Whether you are a student, professional, or simply curious about the topic, this event is perfect for anyone interested in learning and engaging with others to promote health equity. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and contribute to building knowledge surrounding immigrant health. See you there!
