ABOUT THIS COURSE

  • Moms who register for this set of classes, are committed to attend all 4 classes.
  • Instructor, Melanie Coley, BSN, RNC-OB has specialized in labor and delivery for six years and is able to equip you for a successful childbirth journey.
  • Bring your support partner if possible.
  • Participants will receive a certificate and a gift upon completion of the class.

JANUARY TOPICS AND DATES

  • Labor and Delivery (January 6th)—Learn relaxation techniques to help you remain calm and focused. Education about natural vs. medicated vaginal delivery and facts about Cesarean Section
  • Breastfeeding (January 13th)—Tips for positioning, latching on techniques and problem solving
  • Baby Care & Safety (January 20th)—This class provides the basics of baby care and newborn safety.
  • Postpartum Care (January 27th)—Information on the physical and emotional changes that take place after delivery, including postpartum depression

FEBRUARY TOPICS AND DATES
