Bridges Out of Poverty uses the lens of economic class and provides concrete tools and strategies for a community to prevent, reduce, and alleviate poverty. Key tenets of the Bridges out of Poverty work include: recognizing the 4 causes of generational poverty, understanding the hidden rules that create barriers for those in poverty to successfully emerge and identifying critical resource gaps that need to be addressed in order to for individuals to improve life outcomes.

This conference will focus on breaking the cycle of generational poverty. The conference will identify the root causes of poverty, “hidden rules of class”, language, assessment of resources and much more. Participants will learn how to use mental models to communicate effectively and to assist clients from poverty to learn quickly, explore options and develop future stories.
