Concert Description
Los Angeles-based chamber ensemble Bridge to Everywhere performs a cross-cultural program of contemporary music that reflects our interconnected world. The outdoor sunset concert features new works by ensemble members Derrick Skye, Philip Graulty, Yvette Holzwarth, James Waterman, Anna Kouchnerov, Chris Votek, and Dimitris Mahlis. The concert explores connections found across diverse musical traditions including Hindustani and Carnatic classical music, traditional West African music, Mexican folk music, Arabic music, Western classical music, and jazz.
Bridge to Everywhere is the Ensemble-in-Residence at Mount Saint Mary’s University (MSMU). As part of the Music Department’s Artist-in-Residence program, Bridge to Everywhere holds public performances at MSMU and provides educational activities including workshops and open rehearsals.
