Brexit and the EU: The Future of Europe
Thu, October 20, 2016, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM BST
The European Affairs Policy Centre is putting on event to assess the impact of Brexit on the future of Europe.
Following Brexit the fate of the European Union is thrown into balance. No doubt, budgets will be readjusted, inter-governmental agreements forged and reforming laws passed. But with anti-EU sentiment on the rise across Europe and the large detriment Brexit brings to the institution, is a change in its nature necessary to survive? King’s Think Tank aims to bring together an expert panel to discuss the prospect of reforming the EU so that it survives the rising tides that face it.
The King’s Think Tank aims to open up this debate to the wider public and engage with the younger generation by bringing together influential public figures that will critically discuss the fate of Europe and the EU.
