Event description

Description

Brew You Yoga brings the brewing process to the yoga practice!

Each time we step on the mat we go through our own brewing process, mixing the ingredients within us, balancing them and giving them good energy. Brew You Yoga explores the rituals, balance, and community the yoga practice shares with our favorite brews, whatever they may be.

One hour sunset flow on the rooftop at Brooklyn Grange Farm overlooking the Manhattan skyline.

Learn about the benefits of bone broth through a tasting with BrothMasters co-Founder Laya Barak! From gut, brain, bone, and skin health to it's anti-inflammatory and muscle recovery properties this protein rich cup of goodness is a tasty and healthy addition to any lifestyle!

Round out the evening enjoying the views over a few brews, bites while hanging out with some new friends.

About BrothMasters

BrothMasters is a Bone Broth company developed by Dorothy and Laya Barak, a mother-daughter team. We have always been passionate about creating and eating foods that are not only delicious but fuel and heal our bodies. Our bone broth recipe was perfected when Laya went through her own health issues after major ankle surgery in 2012. The surgery caused inflammation, aggravating Laya’s Crohn’s. Through Dorothy’s passion for healthy cooking and Laya’s certification in Integrative Health, we created a bone broth that was originally formulated to soothe gastrointestinal inflammation, but in doing so, we created a product that does so much more.

About Brooklyn Grange Farm.

Brooklyn Grange is the leading rooftop farming and intensive green roofing business in the US. We operate the world’s largest rooftop soil farms, located on two roofs in New York City, and grow over 50,000 lbs of organically-cultivated produce per year. We also operate an apiary, keeping bees in over 30 naturally-managed honey bee hives, on roofs dispersed throughout NYC.

In addition to growing and distributing fresh local vegetables and herbs, Brooklyn Grange also hosts events and educational programming, provides urban farming and green roof consulting and installation services to clients worldwide, and partners with numerous non-profit organizations throughout New York to promote healthy and strong local communities.
