Brew Skies Music Festival returns to Hannibal, MO at the Mark Twain Cave & Campground. on June 5th-6th, 2020.

About this Event

BSMF welcomes hundreds of VW owners and thousands of VW enthusiasts to the 4th Annual Brew Skies Music Festival, featuring 30+ local and regional homebrewers for the 7th Annual HAHA Homebrew Competition, and a 3-day concert schedule featuring local, regional, and nationally touring performances.

Our music festival is a two-day event full of music, beer, and fundraising. Additional attractions include art exhibitors, fashion vendors, BSMF for Kids, an ALL VW Parade, and delicious foods!

Interested participants should REGISTER NOW for the BSMF 5k Run on Saturday, June 6th and 8am. The route is a flat course (no hills) along the Mississippi River that is suitable for any skill level. All proceeds from the BSMF 5k will be donated to the Eugene Field Elementary Playground Project. All registered runners will receive a custom BSMF 5k Medal, Souvenir t-shirt, and awards will be given to the top finishers in each age group.

ALL VW Parade

The annual Brew Skies VW Caravan will travel through historic downtown Hannibal on Saturday, June 6th, at 9:30am. Join us as we welcome VW enthusiasts who are visiting Hannibal from all over the Midwest for Brew Skies Music Festival. The parade route for spectators is from the top of North Main Street (at the Tom and Huck statue) to Main and Broadway. View vintage VW buses, Beetles, Karmann Ghia, Thing, Dune Buggies and much more. Live music performance along the route by marching band, Mobile Funk Unit.

H.A.H.A. Homebrew Competition

The Brew Skies Homebrew Competition is the largest public tasting in the tri-state area and a favorite for festival goers. Meet our special guest brewers who will be tasting alongside you and your friends to determine their “Judge’s Choice” winner. Contestants will be eligible to win HUGE prizes in categories of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for “Judge’s Choice” and a “People’s Choice” award. The 2020 festival brewery partners will be announced int he coming weeks. Homebrew tasting is included (for those 21 and over) with your general admission ticket to the festival on Saturday.


Brew Skies has a wide variety of food offerings. More than 30 vendors will be on site with unique merchandise offering a unique shopping experience for festival goers. 20202 vendors will be posed on our website at HannibalBrews.com

BSMF for Kids

Brew Skies is an all ages event with several kids activities planned throughout the day. Families can enjoy the Petting Zoo and Pony rides on both Saturday from 10am-4pm at Brew Skies. One of the most popular attractions is “Painting the VW Beetle”with the Hannibal Arts Council on Saturday from 11am-3pm. There will be several vendors set up with kid friendlymerchandise.


The Brew Skies trolley is the best way to get to and from the Festival as parking is extremely limited. Most cars will not be able to turn into the festival area without a parking permit for the campground, so we highly encourage you to utilize this service from the Hannibal Trolley Company. The trolley gives fans a comfortable ride from downtown to and from the Festival. Trolleys will be in service from opening to closing of the festival (Friday AND Saturday) and run continuously all day so that you can arrive and leave at your leisure. The last shuttle leaves 30 minutes after the final show of the evening. You will board the trolley at Hannibal Trolley Co. which is conveniently located in Historic Downtown Hannibal at 220 N. Main Street where it is a quick 5 minute ride to the Mark Twain Cave and Brew Skies Music Festival. Cost: $6 round trip.

Mark Twain Cave camoground is SOLD OUT. There are "primitive" campsites availble to VW owners who will be camping out of their buses. Call the Mark Twain Cave office for more info or to make reservation at 573-221-1656


Parking will be extremely limited unless you have a permit for camping the dates of the festival. Attendees are encouraged to park downtown in the historic district and utilize the Hannibal Trolley shuttle service located at 220 North Main Street. Downtown parking is free but the shuttle service is $3 each way, $6 round trip to the festival. The shuttle is a direct route to the festival wiith no stops along the way and will drop you off at the gate to the festival. Shuttle times are from the opening to closing of the festival all three days.
