About this event

Please join Science Education Coordinator Paul Grindrod and Guest Instructor(s) for our very popular 2022 Annual Breeding Bird ID course which begins May 11th.

This 7-class workshop will consist of 4 virtual museum labs on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:30pm on May 11, May 18, May 25, June1, and 3 field courses on May 14, 21, 28 (field locations TBD). The course is designed for novice to new intermediate birders who want to become familiar with the breeding birds of Ventura County. Pelagic birds, shorebirds, and gulls will not be covered during this course.

Zoom sessions will be limited to 40, field sessions limited to the first 20, and priority will be given to WFVZ Members. WFVZ Members price is $25 per class, that's only $175 for all 7 sessions. The non-members cost is still only $245 for over 19 hours of fun and learning.

Current CSUCI, VC, MC, OC, & UCLA students can take the classes at a greatly discounted rate. Current student ID will be required.
