Breathwork & Meditation: Deep Relaxation
Overview
In this 50 minute class you will experience an introduction to Kriya Yoga. Great for all levels! We begin with some asana (movement), leading into Pranayama (breath-work), Mudras (hand gestures) and ending with a led meditation. Benefits of Kriya include anxiety relief, stress reduction, trauma release and the breaking of negative thought patterns.
This class will include a complitmentary cup of tea specially hand picked by Serena, to allow the body to wind down to begin breathwork.
Serena Pickett is a 200 hr certified yoga instructor and has her continued education certification in Pranayama (breathwork). Learn more about the instructor at serenapickett.com
Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class start time to settle into the space and grab a cup of tea.
Bring your own blanket/pillow to sit comfortably on.
