Breastfeeding Support Group
Date and time
Description
Sign up for LATCH's First-ever Breastfeeding Support Group! If you have some breastfeeding issues and concerns, come to our breastfeeding support group session on Saturday 19 October 2013 at 2pm. This activity is free.
We will be joined by Velvet Escario-Roxas of Arugaan/Velvet Birth-Pinay Doula. We will address any breastfeeding issues and concerns that you have including: latch, positioning, nipple shields problem, low milk supply, nipple confusion, relactation, increasing milk supply, breastfeeding twins/multiples, relatching (baby refusing the breast) etc.
1 registration per mom-baby dyad.
Due to limited space, attendees are limited to 1 mom, 1 baby and 1 companion only. No toddlers or other children. You can bring your yaya or baby's dad.
We do encourage dads to come. However, Velvet will be teaching hand expression. So there will be a period of time when only females will be allowed to stay inside the meeting room. All male companions will be asked to wait at the lobby during that time.
If you are coming for relactation, please ensure that you are willing to do this all the way. Efforts will be shared with our whole hearts, thus efforts will also be expected of the Moms. If you can 101% dedicated and determined, please sign up.
Kindly wear buttoned/easy-access tops, bring bath towel and face towel, wide-rimmed cup, teaspoon and olive/coconut oil.
Limited slots available. Please don't take a slot if you cannot make it to allow other mom-baby dyads to join.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE BRING YOUR BABY
Priority will be given to moms with babies who are below 4 months old. Moms with babies above 4-6 months will be on waitlist.
