Description

Lymphedema is a disorder of the lymphatic system that may develop following breast cancer surgery. It remains a concerning secondary complication of many breast cancer patients. It is important to know your risk and learn about preventative measures that you can take. Dr. Justin Riutta, Director of Beaumont's Lymphedema Clinic and Cynthia Tan, specialized lymphedema physical therapist will lead an interactive lecture and demonstration followed by strength and resistance exercises that you can do at home. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and bring your questions.

A light dinner will be served at 6:30pm with the program starting at 7:00pm.

Meets in the PNC Building, 2nd floor, Classroom 4. 755 W. Big Beaver in Troy. Park at the southwest entrance of the building around the back of the building and enter through the glass entryway labeled “Beaumont”.
