Description

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among African American women. Breast cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death among African American women, surpassed only by lung cancer. The Sisters Together Program of Central Jersey Alumnae Chapter is committed to bringing education and awareness to diseases and chronic illnesses that affect our communities. Dr. Janette McDermott, a Board Certified General Surgeon specializing in breast cancer surgery, will be our guest speaker.
