Event description
Breast cancer can happen to anyone. Our health is important physically, mentally, and spiritually during this COVID -19 crisis.

About this Event

Health is a mixture of physical, mental, and spiritual spaces. It is a state of freedom from illness or injury. After looking at different layers of health, anxiety, depression, PTSD, adolescent health, and pain as it affects our health in our bodies, mind, and spirit, we will look at breast cancer and how a diagnosis during this isolating time can affect anyone.

COVID-19 has pushed us into unprecedented times. Quarantine and social distancing rules are isolating and frustrating. Hand washing and masks have become the norms, but it still does not guarantee immunity from the virus. Yet, life does not stop and if there is already a preexisting condition such as diabetes or hypertension it makes matters even more difficult. Now is the time to ask the pressing questions on how can I stay healthy when millions of people are infected with this virus? How, do we keep our distance and still maintain our relationships? What do I feel about life or the afterlife?

This issue in particular will focus on breast cancer and how it can limit us or motivate us to change.

During this live Q & A panel, we will explore healthy tips and tools to effectively manage our health, and other issues impacting daily life.
