Event description

Description

Level K is crucial for those who are new to the Army. It also serves as an ideal orientation to spouses entering into a leadership role in a unit such as a Senior Advisor position or an FRG leader role. Even long-time Army spouses benefit from K Level by "seeing what's new" within the Army.

K.1: Military Life . . . What Does It Mean? - understand the mission, commitment required, and challenges of military life in order to define realistic expectations to positively impact your military experience.

K.2: Military Acronyms and Terms - be able to communicate by employing military specific language, terms, acronyms and time with Army personnel, DA Civilians, and contractors in a military environment.

K.3: Chain of Command - comprehend military structure including rank, chain of command, and basic unit organization to successfully interact within the military community.

Limited weekday childcare is available for children registered with CYS - reservations must be made in advance by calling 719-526-4028. If your plans change and you will not be attending the course, you must call back to cancel your childcare reservation.

In the case of a two hour delay due to inclement weather, classes will begin no earlier than 0930. If the roads on Fort Carson are closed, all classes scheduled for that day will be cancelled and rescheduled at a later date.
