Releases of project partnership details, renderings, funding, and the official groundbreaking ceremony

About this Event

You are warmly invited to be among the first to hear major project updates about the Liberian Learning Center. This evening will showcase new project partnerships, the release of the official renderings of the phase 1 building, a landmark project funding announcement, and a report on the October 2019 working visit of Empowerment Squared leaders to Liberia, which included the official groundbreaking ceremony.

The Liberian Learning Center is a collaborative project led by Canadian charity Empowerment Squared in partnership with Rotary International, Rotary Club of Hamilton, Rotary Club of Monrovia, Paynesville City Corporation, mcCallumSather, and Hamilton Public Library.

The Center will be built in multiple phases on the site of Paynesville City Hall and will be open to the public. The full scope of this transformational project will include Liberia’s first postwar comprehensive learning center and library, co-working and business incubation spaces, sports and recreation facilities, and event facilities.
