Event description

Description

  • Have you been wounded by churches and leadership?

  • Have you been warned about 'touching the Lord's anointed' and threatened with spiritual consequences?

  • Have prophetic words over you felt like they were disempowering rather than edifying?

  • Have you felt that unhealthy demands have been made upon your time and your finacnes?

  • Does fear govern your spiritual life rather than freedom?

If you have answered 'Yes' to any of the above questions, it may be true that you are under the influence of spiritual abuse. This is your opportunity to break free and get the healing you need. Any sense of false loyalty or an emotional influence that manifests as undying commitment is further confirmation that an ungodly soul tie has developed which has become spiritually abusive.

Unfortunately our churches are reporducing leadership that is insecure, fearful and orphan. This results in the ugly side of leadership and in particular a warped expression of pastoral care. Heavy shepherding, control and manipulation become commonplace in churches where leaders are struggling to access the healing that Jesus makes available; instead through their own hurts, they injure others. In some instances the gifts of the Spirit, especially the prophetic gifts, are also warped and tainted in their expression thus becoming a flesh/Spirit mix resulting in control, manipulation and fear.

Breaking Free from Spiritual Abuse is brand new Freedom Day. For too long, many have suffered in silence. This is your moment to take a stand, break free and experience a new lease of life. For as the scripture says, "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom" (2 Cor. 3: 17).
