What the Workshop is about
The best friend for breaking unwanted cycles in our lives is the one who kindly and bravely holds a mirror in front of us so that we see. While in our mind we tend to immediately scan through a list of our friends so to checkmark the particular one(s), it is indeed you who becomes that friend with yourself.
Through the practice of noticing and self-inquiry you learn to befriend yourself with your whole being. As part of this process you look into the stories you tell yourself with a non-judgmental, exploratory curiosity. You uncover made assumptions that draw conclusions on which foundation you established beliefs. Some of them are helpful and most of them are not any longer true for you. They might in fact stand in your way of unfolding your deeper potential.
Cycles can be repeating thoughts or thought patterns, feelings, behaviors and communication. For example every time you see a happy couple or a seemingly successful, achieved professional you think that you will never be as happy as the couple appears to be or you will never be as successful as this professional looks like. You feel jealousy, sadness, anger, despair and frustration and maybe a whole other mix of emotions and based on this confusion you start to retreat from people and stop talking much about your personal life and professional aspirations. Maybe already after the first round of this cycle, maybe after several repetitions you conclude your experience by establishing a fundamental belief that could sound like:"I am not successful, I am not good enough and I will never find a partner for life".
This workshop is about learning the essential tools to discover cycles in your life, creating choices and liberating yourself from the limitations of unwanted cycles.
