CVI2019 Dinner Symposium: BREAKING BOUNDARIES WITH TRANSCATHETER MITRAL VALVE REPAIR

Target audience:

This course is intended to meet the needs of cardiologists, surgeons, internists, residents, fellows in training, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, health care technicians, and other health care providers and investigators who participate in the management of patients with coronary, peripheral, structural, and arrhythmic cardiovascular diseases.

Learning Objectives:

After participating in this educational activity, practitioners will be able to do the following:

  • Distinguish differences in transcatheter approaches for different etiologies of mitral regurgitation

  • Recall technical maneuvers for procedure success when using different device sizes in transcatheter mitral repair

  • Describe opportunities for practice growth in transcatheter mitral repair

  • Evoke optimal intra-procedural imaging techniques for transcatheter mitral repair
