President
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – McKinney
Tim Bowen, FACHE, serves as president of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – McKinney, a role he assumed in September 2022. He joined the McKinney team from Baptist Health Medical Center – Conway, part of Arkansas’s largest not-for-profit health system, where he served as facility president. During his tenure there, Bowen strengthened the medical staff, improved financial performance, and enhanced quality and safety outcomes. His leadership earned him recognition as one of Arkansas Business magazine’s “40 Under 40” honorees in 2020.
Prior to that, Bowen served as president of Integris Grove Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma, and as chief executive officer of Mena Regional Health System in Mena, Arkansas. His career is marked by operational excellence, program growth, and a strong focus on team engagement.
Bowen holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology from the University of Central Arkansas and a Master of Business Administration from John Brown University in Arkansas. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and currently serves on the North Texas ACHE Board of Directors as president-elect.
Outside of work, Bowen enjoys spending time outdoors and on the golf course. He and his wife, Natalie, have two children, Brody (14) and Bella (7).
