On Thursday, November 27th, 2025, ILNAS will host a breakfast event to present its latest publication, designed following an innovative format: a fictitious interview of an imaginary company on its involvement in technical standardization activities in cybersecurity. The event will also showcase the evolutions undergone in 2025 by the Organisme luxembourgeois de la confiance numérique (ILNAS-OLCN), ILNAS’ department on digital trust.

The main objective of this new publication is to demonstrate, in the form of a testimonial, the advantages market actors gain in engaging in technical standardization activities, be this through the application of standards or the participation in their development.

This format will also allow the audience to gain insight into the different cybersecurity and information security themes as covered by the strategic tool that is technical standardization. During the event, the characters shall be interpreted by members of the Organisme luxembourgeois de normalisation (ILNAS-OLN, ILNAS’ technical standardization department) and the OLCN. A sequence involving audience participation will also be proposed.

The second part of the event will be dedicated to the evolutions, in 2025, of the OLCN, which is in charge of executing legal missions related to the European eIDAS regulation on trust services (Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market and repealing Directive 1999/93/EC) and European Cybersecurity act on cybersecurity certification (Regulation (EU) 2019/881 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on ENISA (the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity) and on information and communications technology cybersecurity certification and repealing Regulation (EU) No 526/2013), and the legal mission related to the national framework covering secure dematerialization and conservation of documents (Prestataire de Services de Dématérialisation ou de Conservation, PSDC).

Finally, the morning will conclude with a networking session.
