BREAKFAST IV BROTHERS is a safe space for brothers to converge and promote their collective experiences as a platform for mentoring, sharing, and growing with one another. Our goal is to create a consistent platform that promotes cross-generational dialogue for men of color nation wide.
This series of monthly breakfast dialogues began in December 2013 in Boston(MA). It is geared toward creating healthier communities with a concentration on men and boys of color. Informal dialogues have included topics ranging from politics to job creation, education to incarceration, violence prevention to home ownership, faith and community engagement to financial literacy and more.
With such a demand for male mentors of color, this breakfast series is an opportunity for brothers to connect without titles being a deterrent. The agenda is simply to build community through dialogue and relationships. By encouraging "brothers to bring another brother," we will reach a greater number of men and boys, strengthen our networks, and change our communities from the inside out.
In 2015, the focus of the dialogue series is time, talent, and treasure management. We will explore how our thoughts, conversations, and actions influence our management of time, talent, and treasure.
Join us on this Saturday and bring a brother with you.
