ESC INTERNATIONAL is delighted to invite you to a Breakfast Briefing discussing The Modern Slavery Act’s impact on Welsh businesses.

This Breakfast Briefing is specifically designed for Welsh SMEs who are required, by their customers, to comply with UK Modern Slavery legislation.

Speaker: Jenni Edwards

An industry leader in the area of modern slavery and ethical trade, with extensive experience of working in supply chains to align suppliers compliance strategies with that of their retailer customers’. She has worked across a number of sectors and her client list includes McDonalds Inc, The CocaCola Company, Sainsbury’s, the Co-operative, Princes, M&S, Thomas Pink, Debenhams, John Lewis and ShopDirect.

Speaker: Dr Sue Hurrell

Special Projects Manager in the Welsh Government Procurement Team, she developed the Welsh Business Code of Practice for Ethical Employment in Supply Chains and is now responsible for ensuring its commitments are upheld.

Speaker: David Camp

David is the founder and programme lead of Stronger Together a business led multi-stakeholder collaborative initiative supporting organisations to tackle modern slavery within their businesses and supply chains. He has developed and launched Clearview a global labour provider certification scheme to drive responsible recruitment in supply chains. David is the founder and programme lead of Fast Forward, a collaborative initiative with many brands to build legal and ethical labour standards compliance in the consumer goods retail supply base.
