Description

Alex Ferrari is a hustler. In fact that's what he named his company. INDIE FILM HUSTLE. In the film industry for over 20 years he's worked on well over 1000 feature films, shorts, commercials, music videos, network promos, documentaries, and webisodes. He has screened his films in 600+ film festivals around the world and is one of the most influential voices, through his podcasts and videos on the indie filmmaking scene hands down.

Not only is ALEX screening his sophomore film project: ON THE CORNER OF EGO AND DESIRE Saturday June 1st at 5pm in the Redwood City Century 20 theater.... But he will have a special presentation, Q&A discussion and book signing Sunday June 2nd in Redwood City. His new book has just been released SHOOTING FOR THE MOB, and you won't want to miss the true tale of his misadventure trying to make a feature film...with the mafia.

Don't miss a chance to hear from this innovative filmmaker while sitting in the very room they filmed one of the Bay Area's most iconic films. MRS. DOUBTFIRE with Robin Williams. That's right, Alex will deliver his workshop from the courthroom of the famous movie in which Robin Williams dressed as a woman to portray a nanny so he could stay close to his kids during a divorce.

Alex is the self proclaimed REAL DEAL and he wants to give you the truth on how to make it as a filmmaker in this crazy and sometimes brutal business.

From his website:

You'll find my approach to the biz a bit raw and real. That's because I care about my fellow artists and filmmakers. I've seen and personally made many missteps over the years and I want to help you avoid making the same costly mistakes. The industry is abusive to the new comer and I hope I can help you navigate the shark infested waters
