Bravehearts Fundraising Gala

In 2022, Denise Lin Photography hosted their 1st round of 40 Over 40 photo campaign. A special experience designed to empower women who are over 40 years old. This makeover session included hair and makeup and a glamorous photo shoot experience. To celebrate this, Denise Lin Photography is hosting this gala and in joining forces with BC Women's Health Foundation in supporting women across BC experiencing violence by providing medical assistace and special care. This collaboration is meaningful for many reasons including supporting real talk of women's issues. Each portrait makes a statement, sparks dialogue and tells a story. Every face and every story matters. Denise Lin Photography hopes to move these beautifully framed prints into living portraits. We believe in women supporting women to not only survive but also thrive from hardships.

This Gala will be held at Hycroft Manor (University Women's Club of Vancouver).

Parking: Limited complimentary parking at Hycroft's parking lot and free street parking.

VIP tickets are only for participants under 40 Over 40 Photo Campaign. They are free and non-transferable.

General tickets are non-refundable, but transferable.

All proceeds will be going towards to a non-profit organization. All purchase amounts can be used as credits for photo orderings in photo shoots in 2023.

BC Women’s Health Foundation is BC’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the full spectrum of women’s health. As the foundation for BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre, BC Women’s Health Foundation helps bridge the gap between what the government provides and what women need by funding much-needed medical equipment, facilities, training, and programs. We support the mobilization of knowledge and training for healthcare workers to respond when a patient discloses they are experiencing assault. While the ultimate goal is to shift the focus to preventing violence in the first place, the immediate priority is to improve the care available for the thousands of women across BC experiencing violence now.
