Description
Come join the 2nd Annual BRAVE Fest! A community celebration of love, diversity, inclusion, and multi-culturalism in Austin, Texas! Enjoy local artists and organizations on February 10th, 2-8PM, as we come together to celebrate Valentine's Day, Lunar New Year (Year of the Pig), Constitution Day (Mexico), and Black History Month.
This is a family-friendly event and we are excited to celebrate our community! Invite your friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues! There will be representation from local artists, food and shop vendors, and non-profit organizations that align with the passion and purpose to strive for equity, inclusion, and justice. #MakeATXBRAVE

All performance acts will be family-friendly. There will be a Kids Empowerment Station with games and activities for kids of all ages from 2-6pm hosted by ADL and face-painting by Sparrow. We will also be screening family-friendly movies with social equity themes in some of the rooms with TV screens. Sunday best and cultural attire encouraged.
Suggested On-Line Ticket Donations*:
FREE - Children 6 years old and younger
$10 - Students
$25 - Adults
100% of the ticket proceeds and event sponsorships will be used for BRAVE Communities' 2019 community events and programs, including scholarships for students to go on educational and cultural trips to Montgomery, Selma, and Birmingham AL in 2019.
*To honor our commitment for an inclusive community event, if you are unable to donate for a ticket, please contact us at bravecommunities@gmail.com and we will make ends meet. If you are able to donate more than the suggested ticket amount and would like to support your neighbors, your generosity is greatly appreciated.
Food and crafts will be available for purchase by local women and minority-owned food vendors and exhibitors. The Belmont is a full bar venue.
