On the Marine Corps Birthday and Veterans Day this year, the Brass Bonds veteran suicide prevention club is hosting a group shoot and group workout to bring vets together for things they want to do. ... and it' fair to assume you at least want to go shooting with some fellow vets right? Even if guns aren't for you, we have a group workout and guest speakers sharing their knowledge scheduled as well. We know that the shared misery of a good group PT is one of the best ways we could think to not only rekindle some camaraderie but also pay our respects to the fellow veterans that left us too soon.

The Brass Bonds club has been running quarterly events for nearly 3 years now, all on the hunch that simply getting our fellow veterans out of the house for activities they want to do may set an example for suicide prevention. Nearly every veteran has an unfortunate story of the battle buddy they lost touch with before the suicide happened. It may seem unexpected for some, but for us the warning signs are all too real because we've lived through them ourselves. Brass Bonds aims to tear down those walls of isolation by proving that the esprit de corps (camaraderie) is still there.

While Brass Bonds is not an official not for profit or non-profit organization yet, we are working towards achieving nonprofit status by the end of 2018. With events occurring in California, Minnesota, Ohio, Afghanistan, and Georgia now, our goal is to continue having quarterly events throughout the country.

Not a veteran but still want to help support this event and mission? Please share this link with your veteran friends! You can also donate any amount via the 'donation' ticket on checkout. This is not tax-deductible, but your selfless support helps ensure these events will continue to help veterans get out of the house and learn about alternative treatment available to them.
