Event Details

City Society invites you to the May session of Lady Lessons! We will be hearing from three industry experts on the Do's and Don'ts of branding yourself and your business. So if you are thinking of starting your own business, are a business owner or just want to learn something new we hope to see you there!


Where: The event will be hosted at the beautiful home of Devon Fisher in SoHo. The address will be provided once you have purchased your ticket. 

What: A panel of specialists answering all of your branding questions, be it personal branding, branding your business or branding yourself at a company 

Food: There will be champagne, wine and light bites throughout the evening 

Bios: Please email Emily Merrell, a brief copy of your bio and photo to create the tailored matches 

Address: Address will be emailed out the day of the event. It's at a private residence in SOHO.

The Lovely It Girl: Michela Aramini is the founder of The Lovely It Girl  a personal brand consulting boutique in New York dedicated to inspiring and empowering you to become the bold, beautiful, brilliant It Girl you were born to be. As a Personal Brand Consultant and It Girl Mentor, Michela works with women professionals and entrepreneurs helping them to create bespoke personal brands that clarify and communicate their “It," connect them to their Clique, and ultimately empower them to make a living doing what they love. 

Mighty Oak: Jess Peterson is the founder and creative director of Mighty Oak, a boutique studio specializing in stop motion animation, messaging plans, and branded video workshops for female founders. For the past 10 years, Jess Peterson has worked in music and the visual arts, helping artists, musicians, and cultural institutions find their voice. Past work collaborations have included the Children's Museum of the Arts, Dumbo Arts Festival, The Flaming Lips, Brooklyn Arts Council, and The New York Times. When she's not creating stories, communications plans, or workshops, you can find her hosting an event for HATCH, a monthly meet-up for creative female founders. OR find her behind a wedding dj booth, spinning records with her husband.
Julia Lovallo: Julia Lovallo is a New York City-based creative strategist and consultant for the luxury, hospitality, and non-profit industries, specializing in transforming ideas into engaging creative. She has lead global visual merchandising design for cosmetic brands at Sephora, communications coordination at New York University School of Law, and marketing and creative project management for the Clinton Global Initiative. Additionally, Julia is an active teacher and lecturer in this space, and is the founder of a tech and design workshop series providing mentorship opportunities and hands-on instruction to entrepreneurs and bloggers.
