About this event

This event is funded by the Friends of the Avon Free Library.

This event will be presented via Zoom. Information about connecting to the event will be emailed to you upon registration.

In this 60-minute program presented by Benjamin Berry, participants will be educated about the BrainDance, a series of exercises based on the fundamental developmental movement patterns that we go through in the first year of life. By going through these patterns daily or weekly, children, teens, adults, and seniors can rewire their sensorimotor system, improve core/breath support and alignment, promote cardiovascular health, relieve stress, anxiety, and depression, along with many other benefits. Benjamin will also leave participants with resources to continue learning about BrainDance, and how to incorporate it into their personal life or use it as a tool in their professional life. This program is perfect for families, educators, elder care workers, folks who work with individuals with disabilities, and anyone else who is interested in the connection between wellness and dance.
