Where: Emory University, auditorium of the Whitehead Biomedical Research Building

The Brain Bee Workshop is designed to help students prepare for the Brain Bee competition at regional and national levels. The instructors are from Emory, GSU and GaTech and will use a fun and interactive format to help students prepare for the upcoming competition. There will also be the opportunity to practice sample Brain Bee questions. Please know that even if a student does not want to compete in the competition (or perhaps is not available on the competition date), we welcome their participation in the workshop(s).

The 2018 Atlanta Regional Brain Bee is hosted at Emory University on February 3th, 2018. Registration for the competition is FREE, however, a small registration fee is required that will be reimbursed the day of the competition once the participant has completed the written portion. For more information about the Atlanta Regional Brain Bee and to sign up for the competition, visit the Atlanta Regional Brain Bee website.

NOTE: Workshop #1 is different from Workshop #2. Also, the organizers strive to make the workshops slightly different from the ones the previous year. We love having returning participants as well as new participants.

Tuition assistance for the Brain Bee Workshops is available to students who qualify for free or reduced lunch at their school. Please email Jennifer Walcott, jwalcott@gsu.edu, from the Center for Behavioral Neuroscience for more information.

DISCLOSURE: The workshop will be canceled if less than 10 people are enrolled. In the case that the workshop is canceled, you will have the opportunity to switch into another workshop or receive a refund.

Because we will have already made extensive plans for your participation, we will not be able to provide a refund for cancellations that are less than 48 hours before the event.
