Alex has a passion for Project Management and Contract Administration as well as offering commercial building surveying duties to clients. Prior to founding Sillence Hurn Building Consultancy, Alex was a senior member of the Building Surveying team at a multi-disciplinary consultancy in Hampshire. ​

Ben Richards

Director of Aura Architecture & Interiors, an Award Winning Architectural Design company. Also passionate about property development and works with Investors to create amazing homes whilst providing double digit investment returns with his company EXP Property.EXP's goal is to play as big a part as possible in rectifying the housing crisis by building and transforming efficient, sustainable housing.As an architecture practice AURA is design-led and our aim is to create amazing spaces for homeowners, and give them the additional space they need for their families to thrive.Our Ethos is to maximise space, create simple, light-filled spaces that are sustainable and energy efficient.Ben is a graduate of Cardiff University with a Masters degree in Architectural Engineering and has a passion for all things property.

James Wood

Over the last 20 years James has owned and operated a number of businesses in the development and construction sectors that have had a cumulative turnover in excess of £50million. James has built over 300 new homes, a mix of affordable housing and luxury open market housing, worked as a consultant for businesses across the Country and sat on a number of not for profit Charity Boards.​James currently runs a Land, Development and Plant Holding business, a Construction Company that specialises in JCT Management Contracting/Construction Management and offer a range of Consultancy Services that cover my broad spectrum of experience.

Karen has worked in financial services for over 20 years and most recently was an executive of Shawbrook Bank, as Managing Director of the Commercial Property Division. Karen has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of property lending. Her focus and drive is very much committed to defining and designing better products and processes that better serve the needs of property professionals looking to develop, refurbish or invest into residential or commercial property.

About Andy Bargery:

Andy is an experienced agency and in-house marketer, delivering impactful marketing strategy and communications since 1998. His experience is primarily in the technology, property and event sectors, although he has worked in other industries too.

Some of his career highlights include... delivering a million pound sales pipeline, assisting a professional services firm to grow by more than 100%, using digital advertising to build pipeline and sales for b2b service providers, managing social channels for a leading.com as part of their crisis response, establishing a new travel brand, delivering influencer engagement for an oil major and much more.

About Jay Howard:

Jay Howard has been active within the property industry for the past fifteen years, starting his professional career with a high street estate agent, then moving into the world of property development, trust fund and asset management and most recently extending his knowledge and experience within the auction industry.

About Suzi Carter:

Suzi Carter. Suzi, a Chartered Surveyor, has worked in the real estate industry for over twenty years. As Managing Director of Strongoak Investments, Suzi leads the team in sourcing investments, structuring deals and the ongoing management of property assets.
