Event description

Description

Join Black Professionals in International Affairs (BPIA) and Howard University's Ralph J. Bunche International Affairs Center for a panel discussion and networking event for students interested in international careers. This event will showcase the Donald M. Payne International Development Program and Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Programs, and is sponsored in part by the American Black Ambassadors Association (ABAA).

This expo will provide an opportunity for students to explore a variety of career options in the international affairs field. The career panel will include professionals from the U.S. government agencies, multilateral organizations and the private sector. Come and hear about panelists' professional journeys. This event will also provide students with a unique opportunity to dialogue with current and retired professionals in the field and learn about a variety of career tracks in the international sector.

Following the panel, we invite you to join us for an hour of networking and light refreshments. During the networking hour, students will have an opportunity to meet panelists and also talk with recruiters from fellowship programs, the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS).

Feel free to share this invitation with students and faculty who may be interested!
