Happening during "New Orleans Black Pride Festival" weekend (and Bayou Classic), BPEEtalks are a TEDtalks style event that will speak to and highlight New Orleans' (and Louisiana's) Black Same-gender loving (SGL; i.e., Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual), Trans, and Queer people's lives and experiences. BPEEtalks will focus on: Trauma, Relationships, Wellness & Well-being. The event will feature local, regional, and national Black SGL, Trans, and Queer (and Ally) performers, artist, community and mobilization advocates, wellness and well-being advocates and experts, and community stakeholders. More details will be shared soon.
