Girls’ and boys’ brains: How different are they?“Why do girls talk so much?”… “Why are boys so aggressive?” Do we make assumptions and stereotype girls’ and boys’ behavior in the classroom? Is nature or nurture at play? This session will focus on highlighting male/female brain differences to explain behavioral and academic achievement gaps in the classroom. Whether you are from the school of thought that these differences are biological or that students are influenced by their educational environment; the session will introduce you to strategies for increasing the potential for girls and boys to be successful in school.
