BOYS’ and YOUTH CHOIR “DAGILĖLIS”

Dagilėlis (pronounced Dah-ghi-ley-lis) is an internationally acclaimed boys’ choir, comprised of young men, ages 10 to 19 years, hailing from Šiauliai, Lithuania.
They have entertained audiences around the world since their founding in 1990. Performances in Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain, the US, and many other countries, has allowed Dagilėlis to grace the stage of some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls. Their vibrant stage presence, coupled with the enchanting perfection of their voices, consistently transfixes audiences, both young and old, of all nationalities.
Some of the top honors bestowed on the choir include:
Grand Prize - 2015 “We are Children of Lithuania” competition held in Klaipėda, Lithuania
1st Prize and Golden Award - 2014 International Choir Festival Competition held in Beijing, China
1st Prize - 2013 International Wroclaw Choir Festival Competition, “Vratislavia Sacra,” held in Wroclaw, Poland
1st Prize - 2010 International Choir Competition, “Giuseppe Zelioli,” held in Lecco, Italy
Grand Prize - 2007 International Choir Competition of sacral music held in Kaunas, Lithuania
Grand Prize and two Gold medals - 2006 International Choir Competition, “Mundi Cantat,” held in Olomouc, Czech Republic
1st Prize - 2004 International Choir Competition, “Premio Valentino Bucchi,” held in Rome, Italy
We are honored to have Dagilėlis for this one-night engagement at CSU’s Waetjen Auditorium, located in the CSU Music and Communication Building. This is a rare opportunity for audiences of all ages, whether a choir aficionado, or just a lover of great music, to experience the emotionally moving, live performance of this award-winning choir.
What time do the doors open?
Doors open at 6:15pm.
Does my ticket get me a reserved seat?
Seats are first-come, first-served. However, some seats may be held for honored guests, patrons or donors.
What are my parking options near the event?
Student Center Parking (Lot 22) at 2121 Euclid Avenue $4 = 2 HR $6 = 3 HR $10 = 4 HR. Max four (4) hours. Pre Pay at the PayStation, near the door to SC. May be staffed or reserved for special events.
Music/Communication Building (Lot 21) at 2001 Euclid Avenue $2 = 1 HR $4 = 2 HR $6 = 3 HR $10 = 4 HR. Max four (4) hours. Pre Pay at the PayStation, located in the northwest corner of the lot. This lot may be staffed or reserved for special events.
Lot 70, E. 24th St. $2 = 1 HR $4 = 2 HR $6 = 3 HR $10 = 4 HR. Max four (4) hours.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes. You will not be admitted without it. We will not have the capability to accept tickets displayed on your phone - please print them out.
