Grand Archivist and Historian of Scottish Rite Freemasonry

W. Arturo de Hoyos manages the collection of over one million documents and photographs, which is one of global Freemasonry's largest private resources. The collection includes original holographs by George Washington, Paul Revere, Lafayette, and other notable Freemasons, as well as the substantial collection of manuscript proceedings, rituals and other rare items. He also assist Masonic organizations by helping provide an archival-quality environment in which to store valuable records. He has also helped create several museum exhibits, which are and have been displayed in Washington, DC, and elsewhere in the country.

He has authored, edited and translated numerous books, articles and publications on Freemasonry, and frequently contribute to "Heredom," the annual transaction of the Scottish Rite Research Society. He also serves as the Grand Archivist and chairman of publications of the Grand College of Rites (GCR), a Masonic organization dedicated to the preservation and study of disused Masonic and quasi-Masonic ritual. He has edited "Collectanea," the GCR's annual transaction since 1994.

He also monitors international Masonic relations, and advise the Supreme Council on Regulatory, Statutory and Constitutional matters.

His office is in the historic "House of the Temple," designed by John Russell Pope, America's foremost neoclassical architect, who also designed the Jefferson Memorial, the National Archives, the West Building of the National Gallery of Art, and other buildings in Washington, D.C., and others around the country.

Special Consultant to the Masonic Service Association and other organizations worldwide.

One of three people invited to the Vatican by the Roman Catholic Church to discuss Masonry.

Boynton Lodge Esoteric Research Group

"Blerg" consists of brothers that meet once a month to discuss different Masonic topics, share research papers by it’s members and share thoughts in general all the way from Masonic to different Esoteric philosophies.  Among the research paper presented the group presents at least one in our stated communications in order to bring further light for the rest of the craft.
