Event Details

Successful corporate decision-making starts with a diversity of perspectives. A diverse board of directors are more likely to make balanced decisions that accurately reflect the needs of employees, shareholders, and customers.

Studies show that companies with female representation on the board of directors outperform those with all-male boards, yet in Fortune 1000 companies, only 14.6% of corporate directors are women. How did these women get there and what can you learn from them?

A Panel Discussion on Women Leadership and Decision-making

The Box Women’s Network is proud to host “Women of the Board”, a panel discussion with four of Silicon Valley’s most influential female board members. We will explore what it takes to lead a company from the board and the path that led each of these women to a seat at the table.

We'll get their thoughts on women leadership and decision-making in high-growth environments. You'll also learn what to look for in a company before joining as a board member and what factors entrepreneurs should consider when choosing their board of directors.
