Event Details

The speaker this year is Colonel Paul Longgrear, one of only 13 Green Berets who survived the Battle of Lang Vei.  In addition to his 26 years of federal service, Colonel Longgrear ran a business, served as a pastor both in the United States and as a missionary in the Middle East, is the recipient of a Silver Star, Bronze Star, three Purple Hearts and two Vietnamese government awards, holds degrees in both Mass Media Communications and Christian Counseling, is the subject of a three-part documentary series titled “The Man Left Behind” by Christus Films, and even has an action figure that was made in his honor.

Since its inception in 1993, more than 7,000 people have attended this community event which continues to provide speakers who have achieved tremendous success and recognition in their respective fields.

Net proceeds from the breakfast are distributed to local charities.  This year’s recipient will be HOTEL INC.
