Is the site wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

The final home will be fully wheelchair accessible, built for aging in place. However, it's not finished yet. At this point, much of the site is rough and uneven surfaces. Assistance may be required to navigate the site in a wheelchair. Please reach out if accommodations are needed.

Where should I park?

Accepted Answer

We kindly ask that folks carpool if possible to reduce impact of parking on the property. Parking locations will have clear signage & boundaries in order to protect the sensitive soil areas. No access or parking is available on Leatherwood Lane. Please look for event signage.

Question 3

May I take pictures at the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you are welcome to take pictures of the buildings or elements of the build. There will be a crowd photo release on site to make attendees aware that by attending the event, they are releasing rights to their likeness. Please inform a sponsor business if you wish to not be photographed.

Will food and drinks be provided?

Yes, complimentary light snacks and beverages will be provided

May I bring a guest?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this event is open to the public and we welcome anyone who is interested in Passive Houses and Regenerative land management.

How far is this from Seattle?

Accepted Answer

The property is in the Skagit Valley, and from downtown Seattle to the property will take approximately 1 hr 15 minutes (without traffic). Please plan accordingly.

Question 7

What if the weather is bad?

Accepted Answer

Please plan to dress for the weather. While walking between the buildings and around the property you'll be exposed to the elements. We'll have tents to provide shelter from potential rain and there is space inside the buildings to gather as needed.
