Join us for a bourbon tasting and talk with Molly Wellmann! The master mixologist will share her thoughts on our region’s bourbon heritage and her story of investing in Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati.
Molly Wellmann, a self-taught mixologist, entrepreneur and author from Cincinnati, Ohio, has immersed herself in the knowledge of craft and classic cocktails and fine spirits, and together with her partners, co-owns and operates Wellmann’s Brands. Wellmann currently co-owns The Famous Neons Unplugged, Japp’s Since 1879, The Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar, Myrtle’s Punch House, and newly acquired businesses, Melt Eclectic Café, and Bottle & Basket.
In 2013, Molly published “Handcrafted Cocktails: A Mixologist’s Guide to Classic Drinks for Morning, Noon & Night,” featuring over 100 recipes complete with process and instruction. Wellmann is also a practiced public speaker, participating in many cocktail forums, entrepreneurial conferences and for her work with women’s and leadership organizations. Additionally, Wellmann hosts a weekly radio show on WNKU, “The Five O’Clock Tales,” featuring a history lesson on cocktails, spirits, and the folks who crafted their recipes.
