About this workshop:
Join us at BLDG 61 for a CSED event all about computer aided design and create your own 3D printed object! All materials are provided. Space is limited, please register to confirm your spot (feel free to BYO laptop too if you have one). Appropriate for ages 8 and up.
You’ll Learn How To: CAD modeling for 3D printing
Ages 8-18 - All attendees must fill out our Acknowledgement of Risk and Release Form prior to use of makerspace. Registered spots will be held for 10 minutes after the start of the event, and then given up to walk-ins on a first come basis. No prior knowledge or experience of the equipment is required.
Description of event leader/organization:
BLDG 61 (pronounced “building sixty-one”) is an all-ages public workshop located in the 1961 portion of the Main Library that is dedicated to hands-on learning and cultivating valuable experiences in the community through making.
(Ages 8-13) Stay and work with your child. This is not a “drop off” event.
(Ages 14-18) It’s fine to drop your child off and come back.
By RSVP-ing, your spot is held until the first 5 minutes of the event and then may be released. If you are unable to attend please take the time to cancel your reservation for this event so someone from the waitlist may have a chance to attend.
