About Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank
The facts are staggering: Every day, 1 in 3 families in America struggle to afford diapers for their children. There are over 16,000 diaper-wearing children in the Greater Cincinnati area experiencing diaper need each month. Overall, diaper-wearing children in poverty in the U.S. require more than 5.8 billion diapers annually to keep them clean, dry and healthy. For this reason, the non-profit organization Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank was formed. It is the only diaper bank serving the entire Greater Cincinnati area. Sweet Cheeks partners with local social service agencies to provide diapers to low-income families while raising awareness of the basic health need for diapers. Its mission is to eliminate the existence of diaper need in our community so that ALL babies have a chance to be healthy, happy, and safe. Donations are what keeps Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank running. Thanks to the generosity of so many businesses and individuals, a whopping 153,290 diapers were distributed in 2016. This year’s need is even greater. Thank you for your support.
