Intro to Early Stage Investing for Founders and Aspiring Investors with First Row Partners

About this event

Wonder how startups raise capital from investors? Or, how to get started in early stage investing? We got you. We’re bringing FBombers together from both sides of future deals - founders launching highly scalable businesses, and aspiring early stage investors - for a high energy, hands-on, half day of learning.

Show up with curiosity. Leave with an action plan.

Who is this for? Any woman or non-binary person who owns a business, is a company founder, or built her investible wealth as an entrepreneur and is curious about early stage investing.

You do not have to be an accredited investor or actively fundraising to join.

You will spend time with real life women venture capitalists and angel investors.

What you’ll leave with:

  • What is early stage investing
  • Who invests in early stage companies - and why
  • How does one become an investor
  • What kinds of companies do early stage investors look for - and why
  • Deal terms
  • How to evaluate a deal
  • How to pitch your startup in terms an investor can understand
  • Tips for managing the founder-investor relationship
  • A plan for getting started in fundraising OR investing
