Botanical and Textural mono-printing

Explore this simple, playful and spontaneous mono-print technique.

I'll guide you through the process of creating images using seasonal treasures, be it seedheads, leaves or meadow flowers. We will creat simple images and layered images, creating colour & texture.

Within mono printing You will get to try many different printing techniques and you will then have plenty of time to play with these methods and develop your own prints.

I'll provide plenty of suitable botanical pieces for you to print with and I'll show you what to look for in finding other elements that would work well to give fantastic results throughout the seasons.

The unique properties of this type of printing allows you to capture tiny details in surface texture giving beautiful prints. The possibilities are endless and you are guaranteed to get surprising and stunning results. This is a very fun & addictive form of printing!

You will leave with your own set of unique prints ready to frame and the knowledge to make your own printing plate so that you can continue printing at home.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those with some printing experience. suitable for all ages from 14 to 94! (children must be accompanied by an adult).

All materials are provided including tea, coffee & homemade cake.
