While aboard enjoy Irish tunes inspired by Boston, classic Boston Irish songs, authentic Irish tunes, and sea shanties. See the sites while out on a Harbor Cruise. This event aims to be fun and and entertaining as you cruise through Boston Harbor.

All Celtic Cruises feature Slainte, a Boston based Irish Band. Slainte formed in 2012 and has been entertaining locals and visitors of Boston for over four years. With a mix of original songs inspired by local events the band also enjoys playing crowd favorites and the best of Boston’s Irish tunes.

Meet the Band: Slainte

**Jon: Fiddle**
> Jon is from Winchendon, MA, and learned the fiddle through Boston College's Irish Music Program, studying under Tina Lech and Seamus Connolly. He spent 6 months living in Cork, Ireland, and when he's not playing with Slainte he can be found playing at traditional pickup sessions around town.

**Brady: Lead Vocals, Guitar**
> The band's frontman, Brady is from Providence, Rhode Island. He has been fronting bands since he was in high school, covering many genres from blues, to rock, to folk. Brady enjoys merging his interests of history and music by writing historically-based songs about local events.

Rotational Players
**Mike: Bass Guitar, Vocals**
> Hailing from the far away land of Long Island, Mike has lived in Boston since 2011. Though still a proud New-Yorker from an Italian family, he’s come to love music about both Boston and Ireland. Mike has been playing guitar since he was a wee lad and is the rhythmic backbone of the band.

**Pat: Accordion, Mandolin, Banjo, Vocals**
> "Patches" O'Donovan was born in Donegal, Ireland, and grew up in Quincy, MA. He started with Slainte playing only the accordion, but quickly picked up the mandolin and banjo, and has recently been learning the bodhran drum.

**James: Tin Whistle, Harmonica**
> James has been listening to Irish music his whole life, starting with his grandfather’s band, the Jug O’ Punch. Also hailing from Winchendon, MA, James learned the tin whistle from Jimmy Noonan in Boston and taught himself harmonica by playing along with the radio.

Come enjoy the music and the top notch service aboard our elegant ship, see the sights, and have a relaxing beverage with us!
