Event description

Description

For Mayor Martin J. Walsh and the Boston City Council, youth development is a top priority. The Youth Expo will model a resource fair and will include a variety of career opportunities, workshops, and educational resources for youth ranging from age 16 to 21 years old. This Expo seeks to showcase organizations that offer part-time/ full-time job opportunities for youth, information on summer jobs for 2018, college access resources, and workshops, including resume and cover letter writing. In addition to these resources, this event is a chance to have fun, dance to some music, watch a few performances, and meet new people!

We invite you and your family to join us at this event and use this opportunity to engage with many resources and opportunities for you in the City of Boston. Youth development programs and colleges like the ones attending are essential to ensuring that Boston’s youth are well educated, civically engaged, healthy, confident, and productive members of a culturally diverse society.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE!

For more information contact: Juwan Skeens - Neighborhood Liaison for District 4 City Councilor Andrea J. Campbell: 617-635-3131.
