Boston WiSE Software Carpentry Boot Camp
Monday, June 24, 2013 at 9:00 AM - Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 4:30 PM (CEST)
This boot camp is an example-driven two-day workshop on basic computing skills for women in science, engineering, and medicine. Short tutorials alternate with hands-on practical exercises, and participants are encouraged both to help one another, and to try applying what they have learned to their own research problems during and between sessions. Participants should bring their own laptops to work on.
This boot camp is open to female graduate students, post-docs, faculty members, staff scientists, or equivalent in science, engineering, medicine, or a related field. Please see http://software-carpentry.org/bootcamps/2013-06-wise.html for more information.
When & Where
Software Carpentry teaches researchers in science, engineering, and medicine the skills and tools they need to use and build software more productively.
