Event Details

Hey Boston SXSWers,

This is going out to friends, and friends of friends from the Boston area going to SXSW this year.  You are welcome if you plan to be in Austin for the greater SXSW activities (Whether or not you actually have an exhibit hall ticket--I know a few who attended last year just for the parties.  Imagine).

We thought it would be a good idea to get everyone together just before SXSW, so we can trade notes about great sessions people plan to attend, tips on the best private parties and how to get into them, etc.

We're opening the Venture Cafe space specially on Wednesday, March 9 from 6PM - 8:30PM.  Beer & wine on us.  Make sure you RSVP so we have a good head-count.  We hope to see you there!

(And just so everyone knows, there is going to be a Boston-in-Austin gathering in Austin on March 13th, 5-7PM at Fado Irish Pub, sponsored by Hubspot, OneForty, and Backupify.  If you plan to attend that one, RSVP here:

(Also, we've set up a LinkedIn group for Boston people going to SWSX.  This is a place people going can make announcements to each other.  I just saw one, for instance, saying DogPatch is going to have stuff going on at SXSW.  You can join that group here:
