Event description

Join The Boston Entrepreneurs’ Network (Boston ENET) to celebrate its 26th Anniversary of educating and empowering entrepreneurs during the 2016-2017 program season with a series of programs on entrepreneurship, with event topics crowdsourced from attendees annually.

Boston ENET was awarded two IEEE-USA Awards, one for Professional Leadership in 2015 and one for Professional Achievement in 2016.

Tired of practicing your startup pitch in front of a mirror or in front of friends and family who always say you're doing a good job, but no one is investing in your startup?

Want to practice in front of fellow entrepreneurs, professionals working in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and investors?

Then apply to Boston ENET's eMinute Pitch Program to give your startup pitch in front of an engaged, entrepreneurial-minded audience and get useful feedback!

Boston ENET: eMinute Pitch Program - Pitch Your Startup & Get Feedback!

Apply by Sunday, June 4th, to pitch on Tuesday, June 20th!

Our Why
Pitching your startup is an essential skill for founders. You can practice on your own, in front of family, friends, and colleagues, but the whole experience changes when you pitch in a large room in front of an unknown audience! Boston ENET's eMinute Pitch Program is a great way for founders to build invaluable experience while pitching their startup in front of an unknown, yet founder-friendly audience.

How It Works
Up to three founders are selected to pitch at the beginning of each Boston ENET event. Founders have up to 90 seconds to introduce their startup and team, describe the problem they’re solving, explain traction to date and potential market size, and share next steps and any "asks" that they may have of the audience. In essence, it’s an elevator pitch. After each pitch, the expert panelists for that event will provide feedback to the presenter. Also, with an audience ranging from 70-125 attendees, including founders who are bootstrapping to founders who have exited, the eMinute Pitch provides invaluable exposure to fellow entrepreneurs "who have been there", with ample time to network at the end the event.

Social Media
Your startup can be included on Boston ENET's website and tweeted out on its Twitter handles, @BostonENET and @eMinutePitch!

Feeback From Presenters
The eMinute Pitch is not another version of the television show "Shark Tank" or its imitators. As a result of the positive feedback from its participants, expert panelists, and founder-friendly event attendees, Boston ENET has become affectionately known the "Love Tank" for founders.

"eMinute was, from a business development perspective, the most productive five minutes of my career!" Jay Johnson, CEO, Synersoft

“eMinute was a great opportunity to get our message out to a diverse audience, and I am grateful to Boston ENET for making it possible!” Ray Deck, President, Element55: Automatic Time Capture
