Critical Legal Issues for Early Stage Companies
Early stage companies have to address numerous legal issues, including, but not limited to: where to incorporate, founders' equity and employee stock option plans, employee agreements, including confidentiality agreements, assignment of invention agreements, non-compete agreements, documentation of innovations and potential inventions, patent protection, including provisional patents, utility patents, and design patents, and other intellectual property protection, such as trademarks and copyrights.
Our panel of legal experts will address these legal fundamental issues that early stage companies must consider during their earliest days in order to lay a strong foundation for success.
